Original caption: " The iron clipper 'Loch Etive' (1877, 1235 GRT) was built by Inglis for the Loch Line of Glasgow. She served the Australian wool trade for over 30 years. For the return voyage to Sydney in 1880-81, Józef Korzeniowski (who later became famous as the writer Joseph Conrad) served as 3rd Mate. She was sold in 1911 and broken up in 1914. " |
