Summary
editDescriptionLoch Langabhat from Scara Ruadh - geograph.org.uk - 1349472.jpg |
English: Loch Langabhat from Scara Ruadh This should have read 'Loch Langabhat and Bleabhal from Scara Ruadh', but there doesn't seem to be a lot of point mentioning Bleabhal when we couldn't see it. The foreground rocks are almost at the summit (not quite the summit, as I am actually standing on it) and they and the left end of the loch are in square. You can see on the map the inlet and the peninsula at the extreme left of this view. If I had looked at the map I'd have taken another with that feature in the middle of it, but it was much too wet, windy and plain unpleasant to risk the inevitable destruction of the map so I didn't take it out of my pocket. The joys of geological field trips in adverse weather! |
