Description	La Porte Royale. La Porte Royale est la seule issue permettant l’accès à la Citadelle. Cette porte date des XIIème et XIIIème siècles et a été complétée au XVème siècle par un corps de bâtiment central et une terrasse à canons. Situé dans la Porte Royale, Le musée du Terroir de Loches a été créé par le folkloriste et écrivain, Jacques-Marie Rougé en 1925. Il reconstituait un intérieur tourangeau du XIXème siècle, mais est aujourd'hui fermé au public. La Porte Royale. The Royal Gate is the only way to access to the Citadel. This gate dates from XII and XIII centuries and was completed in the fifteenth century by a main building and a central patio guns. Located in the Royal Gate, The Museum of Regional Loches was created by the folklorist and writer, Jacques-Marie Rouge in 1925. He reconstructed the interior of the nineteenth century Touraine, but is now closed to the public.
