Description
Español: Locomotora de vapor, matrícula 306 de Ferrocarriles del Estado, con el típico rodaje norteamericano 220 (contando los ejes), o 440 (atendiendo al número de ruedas). Seguidamente vemos el coche presidencial, bajo una nueva cubierta o marquesina, que lleva un cartel o rótulo procedente de la estación de Ñuñoa (barrio o comuna de Santiago). El coche presidencial es de la misma época que la locomotora, pues fue fabricado por Pullman Car hacia el año 1910. La propia locomotora fue construida en Chile, en 1911, en la antigua maestranza y astilleros de Caleta Abarca (de Viña del Mar); establecimiento que inicialmente se llamaba "Lever, Murphy & Co.", luego Sociedad Fundición de Chile, y finalmente "Sociedad de Maestranzas y Galvanización".
