Description |
English: Probably part of the Brackett Wagon Road . Caption on image: "Bridge on the Skaguay and Lake Bennett wagon road." On verso of image: "The old Moore trail through this ravine was so prohibitive that only ten percent of the stampeders who started for Lake Bennett ever reached there. This well constructed bridge and wagon raod which was built in 1898 extended some distance out of Skaguay. It was good competition for the Chilkoot Trail." Original image in Hegg Album 21, page 17 .
