Description
Deutsch: Da von der Emporenerweiterung in 1909 über dem südl. Seitenschiff (siehe File:Lohra - Evangelische Kirche (032).JPG) der Altar nicht zu sehen war, hängte man als "Ersatz" gut sichtbar von den neuen Sitzplätzen dieses Bild von Nicolaus Dauber (Bruder des Architekten August Dauber der den Umbau ausführte) auf. Anzumerken ist, das für den römischen Soldat der damalige Pfarrer Bücking und für Maria Magdalena seine Frau Modell stand. Der Bildhintergurnd stellt Lohra im Salzbödetal dar.
Das Bild hängt heute an der östl. Wand des nördl. Seitenschiffs. Vor dem Bild ist der Taufstein aufgestellt. Nach Auskunft des Küsters wurde das Bild in der 1950er Jahren umgehängt.
Der helle Bereich im unteren Bildteil ist ein "Artefakt".
An dem ursprünglichen Platz des Bildes ist heute eine Leinwand aufgehängt. auf der während der Gottesdienste der Chorraum projiziert werden kann
