| Description |
There's lots to see here. We're looking from the South-west and the two East-West runways can be seen. A blue aircraft has just taken off from the nearest runway (It's half way up the left of the pic), Another has just landed on the other runway and is turning off onto a taxiway. At the left of the pictures are Terminals 5A,B and C. The tall control tower is in the middle of the pic and to it's right is Terminals 3 and 2. Terminal 4 is off-picture to the right. Many aircraft can be seen on the ground, a mixture of Airbusses and Boeings, mostly. I can see more than 60. A third runway has just been given approval (June 2018). It will (?) be located in the area beyond the far runway. |
