Summary
editDescriptionLondon bus (6).jpg |
LJ11ACU - Wright Gemini 2-bodied VDL DB300. New in August 2011 to Arriva London as DW443. In many towns and cities in the UK, there all pretty much standardised (E.G. Arriva, Stagecoach, First et, all in their usual liveries). Here in London alone, although under Arriva ownership and like everywhere else in the UK, low-floor design, their buses must ALWAYS be red. Nice to see it with the iconic roundel symbol which became synonymous with London Transport! If I had it MY way, many towns and cities would follow suit by keeping their buses in the livieries associated with the town/city in question.......in MY case, buses accross Greater Manchester would revert back to the traditional pre-1980 or post-1980 GMT livery (depending on which would be most popular!) |
