Description

Long Khan, aged 70, says that the flood came at four in the morning. He and his family had to move to a camp for two months and have only recently returned at the start of November.

"We didn't have time to save our belongings or our livestock," he says. "When we came back we had nothing and we were living under the sun, in the open."

"We received some shelter materials, plastic sheeting and floor mats, as well as hygiene kits and some tools so that we can start to clear away the mud".

With support from the UK, the NGO Concern is working in this part of Pakistan to provide people with the basic things that they need as they return to their communities after the flood.

Shelter kits, hygiene kits and tools such as shovels and wheelbarrows are all helping to support people like Long Khan, who have lost everything.
