| Description |
English: Long Water, Home Park An impressive 1km long lake which can be viewed from Hampton Court Palace. The park is officially 'Home Park' but often referred to as the more self-explanatory 'Hampton Court Park'. The Long Water often holds a good number and variety of water birds, especially in winter. The trees along it are quite new after the old avenues were removed due to some trees dying and becoming dangerous. To maintain the uniform look it was decided to remove them all and start again - a shame now, but will make sense in 50-100 years. |
