| Description | Long view of the short two car train in the railway park just outside the Railway Coastal Museum in St. John's, Newfoundland. In the immediate foreground is the mail car # 1805 which was built in 1952 by Canadian Car and Foundry. The car served one of the primary functions of the Nfl. Railway- to provide an efficient and reliable postal service. It was used on the Nfl. Railway Centennial train in 1981 and was donated to the city of St. John's soon after. This car was also initially on display in the Borwing Park in St. John's before being moved here.. (St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, June 2015) |
