Summary edit

Description
English: View from the Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage, Alaska. This view looks down from an upper story of the hotel at the intersection of Fifth Avenue and I Street. The building at upper right was built in the late 1970s and is octagonal in shape. The building at upper left formerly housed a small department store before they moved to International Airport Road in the early 1980s and subsequently went out of business. It currently houses a religious education center operated by the Roman Catholic parish associated with the nearby Holy Family Cathedral.
