Description Grant Street Pier, in Vancouver, Washington, is a cable-stayed viewpoint deck jutting out over the Columbia River near downtown that opened in 2018. This view is looking west towards the pier's outer end from the NE portion of its deck. In the righthand background is the 1908-built BNSF Railway Bridge, the first bridge to be built across the lower Columbia River.
