| Description |
English: Looking west from Wick Station Wick is the terminus of trains on the far north line from Inverness and is the most distant UK station from London. This is the view from the station platform, looking in the Inverness direction. The station sill retains its run-round loop but this is not now needed for normal passenger services which are operated by multiple unit trains. Wick was once the junction station for the Lybster Branch which was closed in 1951. The siding into the now disused Wick station yard can be seen on the left. |
