Description
English: Chhou Dance is traditionally performed during Chaitra/ Spring festival in Puruliya, West Bengal, India. This dance form has three different styles in the three eastern states of India. Puruliya Chhou is known for its use of the mask. Each character wears a mask to depict a particular character. This particular mask is the mask of Lord Shiva.
