| Description |
English: The remnants of the softball field in the northern half of Loreto Playground, on Morris Park Avenue between Tomlinson Avenue and Haight Avenue in Morris Park, Bronx. The field was originally square and occupied this entire half of the park, until the hockey rink (background) was constructed in 2005 which made the softball field much less functional. Interestingly, the Parks Department is planning a project which will take down the hockey rink and restore the full ballfield along with an overlapping soccer field. |
