Description Lot 5422-17: USS Mount Vernon (ID #4508), starboard view, at the New York Navy Yard, New York, 1918. In September 1918, she was torpedoed by U 82. She was repaired at Brest, France, and was ready to serve again in February 1919. Collection of the Secretary of the Navy Josephus Daniels. (9/11/2015).
