Description Lot 9609-1: Royal Navy (British) during the First World War. HMS King Alfred in Liverpool, England, after being mined by UB-86 April 11, 1918. She was sold for scrap in 1920. Collection was transferred from a British government source in 1920 to the Library of Congress. (9/18/2015).
