Description
English:

Caption in album: Christmas, 1913; Souvnenir Album of "Qui Si Sana" Health and Biological Institution, Lake Crescent, Olympic Mountains, Washington, U.S.A. The forty photographs of this little album make, indeed, a complete story almost without words. "Qui Si Sana," my "biological home," as it might be called, tells its own great story with these photographs. Not all, but many of the phases of beauty of this charming spot in the forests o the Olympics are here displayed. It is not only with pleasure, but also some pride, that I have put together this little album. I love every foot of the ground, and every rose and every plant, and all and all that is there. "Qui Si Sana" has been for me a work of real love, and its accomplishment a real joy. In writing this and seeing before me the pictures of my life effort, I am indeed in that mood of Christmas Tide which gives me right to wish you all a very happy Christmas and a very happy New Year. Dr. Louis Dechmann, 127 North 59th Street, Seattle, Wash., U.S.A.
