English: Low Hill, Baildon This hamlet appears to be an encroachment on Baildon Common. There were more houses before the slum clearances of the 1960s. Water supply was an issue then as their water was piped from Joe Well on the moor superb water, but contaminated by the time it reached the houses. The building on the right was a chapel, see close-up photograph. |
