| Description |
English: Low Spring Tide at Lunan Bay. This was one of the lowest tides of the year, and rocks were exposed which are not normally accessible on foot. Compare with 1459662, which shows the identical scene at high tide. Launching boats is awkward when the water is so low, because they have to be dragged some distance through the rocks. It's much easier to wait an hour or three until the water comes back! |
