The transformer secondary is rated for 6.3 Volts @ 8 Amps. It was originally connected in full wave, center tapped, positive ground system, with the upper green wire connecting to the diode disconnected in the picture, the diode cathodes grounded, and the center tap going to the negative output lead. As shown, it has been reconfigured as a half wave rectified unit, positive grounded, with one end of the transformer secondary connecting to the negative output wire, the other end connected to one diode, and the center tap disconnected from the circuit. Also showing in the photo are some 18 ohm carbon composition resistors connected as bleeders.
