Summary
editDescriptionLower Manhattan from Lackawanna Ferry (1964) (4604146040).jpg | Lower Manhattan in 1964, from the Lackawanna (Erie-Lackawanna) railroad ferry from the Hoboken terminal to Barclay Street in New York. 60 Wall Tower, the tallest building in Lower Manhattan at the time, is at the far left. The Chase Manhattan building is the square structure in the center. The low World-Telegram building at left center, the home of an afternoon newspaper, had a prominent sign that made it something of a landmark. |
