Description
Deutsch: Gut getarnt liegt der Luchs in der Dezember-Mittagssonne im Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald. Sein Fell ist den Farben des Waldes gut angepasst. Auffälllig sind seine Pinselohren und der kurze Schwanz. Luchse sind Einzelgänger und bevorzugen große einsame Wälder. Sie hören sehr gut und schleichen sich an die Beute heran. Diese sind Hasen, Rehe und Nagetiere. Der Luchs wurde in der Vergangenheit stark bejagt. Zwischenzeitlich gibt es Ansiedlungsprogramme für den Luchs, sowohl im Bayerischen Wald als auch im angrenzenden Böhmerwald.
