| Description | Locals and tourist alike gather along the breakwater to watch the storm surge from Hurricane Lane. Thankfully, it stayed well offshore and our famous tradewinds literally shielded and decimated the storm, causing her to go from a Cat 5 to a tropical storm within a 24 hour period without ever making landfall. That being said, on our neighbor island of Hawaii, they are being inundated by rains from the remnants of Lane. |
