Luminancia es la propiedad constante de toda superficie para absorber y reflejar la luz que recibe, independientemente de la cantidad y/o calidad de la iluminación: (Haya más o menos luz el porcentaje de luminancia será el mismo. En este círculo de coches el blanco siempre será el más claro, independientemente de la cantidad o tonalidad de la luz que reciba.
