Summary

edit
Description I started a few lupine plants and took these photos of the one with the first little leaf unfolded and a few days later of the same one with leaf 2 unfolded. The other two green structures are not leaves but cotyledons and are a store of nutrition that allow the plant to thrive until the true leaves get large enough to photosynthesize enough food for the growing plant. My first Macro Monday image I think.
