Deutsch: Martin Luserke (* 3. Mai 1880 in Berlin; † 1. Juni 1968 in Meldorf, Holstein), deutscher Barde, Theaterschaffender, Schriftsteller, Reformpädagoge, Schulmitgründer der Freien Schulgemeinde (1906) in Wickersdorf und der Schule am Meer (1925) auf Juist. Das Foto stammt aus der Zeit seiner Segeltörns auf dem Blazer Krake (ex ZK 14) zwischen 1935 und 1938.
English: Martin Luserke (born on 3 May, 1880 in Berlin; deceased on 1 June, 1968 in Meldorf, Holstein, Germany), German bard, theater maker, writer and progressive educator, co-founder of two boarding-schools, Freie Schulgemeinde (1906) in Wickersdorf near Saalfeld in Thuringia Forest and of Schule am Meer (1925) on the East-Frisian island Juist. The photo was made during the time of his sailing trips on the Blazer Krake (ex ZK 14) between 1935 and 1938. The name Krake means octopus.
