Description

The Argentine cartoonist and writer Roberto Fontanarrosa died on 19 July 2007, at the age of 62. He'd been diagnosed with ALS in 2003, and had to stop drawing in January 2007. Fontanarrosa was an icon of Rosario, the city where he was born and remained until his death. In his honour, the flags located before the National Flag Memorial and in the nearby Plaza 25 de Mayo (at the historical center of the city) were raised at half mast today.

Argentina

Argentina has no "freedom of panorama" provision in its copyright law. At least some think there is de facto freedom of panorama in Argentina regarding buildings:

English It is uncontroversially accepted that buildings can be reproduced by paintings or photographs, without this reproduction infringing copyright.
