This lych gate was erected to the glory of God as a thank-offering for the restoration of peace June 28th 1919. In grateful memory of the men of Caerleon who served their king and country in the Great War remembering before God those who gave their lives in the cause of liberty and justice and whose names are inscribed within this church.
