Description

Beskrivelse: Fra mødre- og barnehjemmet på Hurdal Verk. Lebensborn valgte eiendommer med høy standard til sine institusjoner. Mødrene fikk også økonomisk støtte til barneklær og barnevogner. Dette kan ha bidratt til den negative holdningen til krigsbarna og deres mødre blant mange nordmenn.

Lebensborn mother and birthcare home ”Hurdal Verk”. Lebensborn chose institutions of a high standard for their homes for mothers and children. The mothers also received financial support towards buying childrens wear and prams. This might have increased the negative attitude against the women and their children among many Norwegians. Det finnes anslagsvis 10-12 000 barn som ble født under eller like etter andre verdenskrig med tysk far og norsk mor. Lebensborn fikk registrert ca. 8000 krigsbarnsaker før krigens slutt.

Disse fotoene stammer fra Arkivet etter det tyske Abteilung Lebensborn/ Reichskommissariat Bildarchiv (RAFA-3309) .
