Description
Deutsch: Das Münchner Tor, auch Nagelschmiedtor genannt, am Nordwestrand der Altstadt von Mühldorf am Inn. Der hohe mittelalterliche Torturm mit Zinnenkranz und rundbogiger Durchfahrt ist Teil der im 12./13. Jahrhundert entstandenen Stadtbefestigung. Der untere Teil mit der Durchfahrt zeugt von romanischer Zeit (12./13. Jahrhundert). Die oberen Stockwerke sind jünger, stammen jedoch gleichfalls aus dem Mittelalter. Das schönste erhaltene Stadttor des Landkreises Mühldorf am Inn.
