Summary
editDescriptionM.O.T. failure - geograph.org.uk - 1082346.jpg |
English: M.O.T. failure I reckon this car needs more than track rod ends to get it through this year's M.O.T. - I don't know how long this has been here, but I think it's over 20 years, as I vaguely remember it in not quite so decayed state from when I used to regularly visit this area. I reckon another 20 years will see it almost returned to the earth apart from a few hard wearing nuts & bolts. The mystery is how it ever managed to get here in the first place, it's a heck of long way from public roads across very car-unfriendly terrain ! However some motorised transport does get here occasionally as the Round Hills have been the venue for off-road motor bike events before now and there is still evidence of this on some of the hills, with man-made jumps for the bikes, so perhaps they are still contested here occasionally. I don't think this one will be winning any competitions though. |
