Deutsch: Sterne im Handwerk
Ein Stern war früher häufiges Ornament auf Handwerksprodukten, da er auch als Schutzsymbol angesehen wurden. Heute sollen Sterne eher eine besondere Qualität ausdrücken.Als Gewerbezeichen wird der Stern gern von Glasern genutzt. Sie wiesen mit einem sternförmigen Aufhänger auf den Ort ihrer Werkstatt hin. Gleichzeitig war der Stern Beleg ihrer Kunstfertigkeit.Der sechseckige Brauerstern ist regional vorwiegend in Franken und der Oberpfalz verbreitet, wo er Zeichen der Brauer und Mälzer ist. Seine beiden Dreiecke können einerseits die Verbindung von Feuer, Wasser und Luft beim Brauprozesss symbolisieren, andererseits für die Brauzutaten Hafen, Malz und Wasser stehen. Im Stadtbild zeigt der Brauerstern Häuser an, in denen Bier gebraut und ausgeschenkt wird. Das beruht auf der Tradition, dass sich Familien eines Ortes beim Brauen turnusmäßig abwechselten. ein roter Stern bedeutete „dunkles Bier“, ein goldener Stern signalisierte „helles Bier“. |
