Description
Deutsch: Im Stadtpark von Halle befindet sich ein Denkmal für die Gefallenen der Befreiungskriege von 1913. Das erste Denkmal wurde am 3. August 1914 anlässlich des 44. Geburtstag von Friedrich Wilhelm III. aufgestellt. Dabei handelte es sich um einen Holzobelisk mit Adlern und Schriftfeldern. Im Jahr 1839 wurde das Denkmal laut Inschrift erneuert und seitdem handelt es sich um eine Sandsteinsäule mit Eisernen Kreuzen und Sanduhren.
