Fotografia portretowa wykonana w atelier zakładu fotograficznego “E. Pippeel" w Łodzi, przedstawiająca dwójkę dzieci siedzących w jasnych ubrankach, z ustawionymi przed nimi zabawkami. Na odwrocie fotografii znajduję się dedykacja, odręcznie napisana długopisem, w formie wiersza. Na rewersie fotografii ozdobny druk reklamowy. Edward Pippeel zakład fotograficzny pod nazwą "Moderne Photographie”, założył w 1897 roku w parterowym domu tkackim rodziców przy ulicy Nawrot 24. W 1915 roku przekazał zakład bratu Alfredowi, który przeniósł go na ulicę Nawrot 2. Bracia Pippeel prowadzili od 1899 roku pierwszy w Łodzi skład przyborów fotograficznych oraz stali się organizatorami ruchu fotografów-amatorów. Wśród łodzian niemieckiego pochodzenia popularne było powiedzenie – tłumacząc na polski –„ Idź do Pippla i daj się wypchać”, które wzięło się od poprawiania przez Edwarda sylwetek portretowanych osób poprzez umieszczanie pod ubraniem poduszek.
