Fotografia portretowa wykonana w zakładzie fotograficznym "E. Stumman" w Łodzi, przedstawiająca kobietę i mężczyznę w średnim wieku, w ciemnych strojach wizytowych. Na rewersie ozdobny druk reklamowy . Zakład fotograficzny “E. Stumman” funkcjonował już w 1856 roku prawdopodobnie w Warszawie. Eliasz Stumman w Łodzi działalność rozpoczął w 1871 roku. Do 1887 roku zakład mieścił się przy ulicy Piotrkowskiej 24. W 1887 roku Antoni Jezierski postanowił wybudować murowaną piętrową oficynę mieszkalną przy ulicy Piotrkowskiej 20 z pomieszczeniem dla zakładu fotograficznego. Zajął ją Eliasz Stumman. Kolejna zmiana adresu jego zakładu fotograficznego nastąpiła na początku XX wieku, kiedy to w centralnej części podwórka przy Piotrkowskiej 17, wystawiono jednopiętrowy budynek, z przeznaczeniem na atelier. Nowe atelier nie służyło długo fotografowi, który zmarł w 1903 roku. Ob. po dawnym atelier pozostały jedynie fundamenty, tworzące dzisiaj obrys budynku, dobrze widoczny z lotu ptaka. Eliasz Stumman fotografował łódzkie pałace, budynki fabryczne czy park Helenowski. Z e zdjęć jego autorstwa powstał album „Łódź-Lodz” wydany w Dreźnie w 1888 roku.
