Rewers fotografii portretowej wykonanej w atelier zakładu fotograficznego "W. S. Paluszkiewicz" w Łodzi, przedstawiającej dziewczynkę w stroju komunijnym, trzymająca w dłoni książeczkę do nabożeństwa oraz świecę – gromnicę, która symbolizuje swoim światłem obecność Chrystusa w sakramencie. Stąd jest ona wykorzystywana również podczas chrztu i nierzadko ta sama świeca pojawia się podczas kolejnych sakramentów a także, skąd bierze się jej nazwa, jako przedmiot apotropeiczny – chroniący przed uderzeniem pioruna. Fotografia została wykonana na przełomie XIX i XX wieku. Włodzimierz Paluszkiewicz był właścicielem zakładu fotograficznego czynnego przed 1916 rokiem na Bałutach przy ulicy Spacerowej 14 (ob. ulica Pasterska 12). Brak o nim informacji w łódzkich informatorach handlowych, ponieważ Bałuty nie były w tym czasie częścią miasta. Przed 1939 rokiem Włodzimierz Paluszkiewicz prowadził zakład fotograficzny przy ulicy Srebrzyńskiej 15 w Łodzi.
