Description

The Key West City Commission taking the oath in 1957. From the left Charles Parra, Bill Chappell, Mayor Delio Cobo, J.M. Fernandez Jr. and Louis M.J. Eisner. Photo by Jeff Brodhead.

  • Notes: May be misdated; photos of President Franklin Roosevelt and Harry Truman on wall; more likely during Truman's first term (1945-1949; portraits of Roosevelt who died in office were allowed to remain up in government buildings in addition to current president Truman). (By 1957 Dwight Eisenhower was in his 2nd term as President.)
