Deutsch: Gedenkstein (Sandsteinobelisk) für die alte Pfarrkirche in Mindelheim, Stephanstr.; 1859 an der Stelle der 1816 abgebrochenen, aus dem 14. Jh. stammenden Kirche errichtet. Er trägt folgende Inschriften: (Östlich): Hier stand die Stadtpfarrkirche zum hl. Stephan. Abgetragen 1816. (Westlich): Unter der Regierung Maximilians II. Königs von Bayern errichtet von den Bewohnern Mindelheims 1859. (Südlich): Erinnerung an alle im Herrn entschlafenen hier beerdigten Pfarrkinder Mindelheims aus mehr(er)en Jahrhunderten bis 1814. (Nördlich): Erinnerung an die hier beerdigten Krieger Oesterreichs, Frankreichs, Rußlands. Eine Rechteckblende an der Ostseite zeigt eine Reliefansicht der Kirche. |
