English: Mamove, Nord-Kivu, RDC : Le 4 juin 2020, le général Ricardo Neves, commandant de la Force de la MONUSCO, a visité la base militaire de la Mission à Mamove où sévissent des groupes armés, ADF et Maï-Maï. C’était pour voir comment améliorer l’environnement des soldats de la paix dans cette région, mais aussi pour leur apporter un réconfort et les encourager à continuer à remplir leur mandat de protection des civils, malgré les conditions très difficiles dans lesquelles vivent ces casques bleus. The purpose of this visit was to explore ways of improving the working conditions of the peacekeepers’ in that environment, boost their moral and encourage them to continue to fulfill their mandate of protecting civilians, despite highly challenging conditions which they face in the base.
