English: Delta’s team in Minneapolis got into the holiday spirit while hosting its annual “North Pole Fantasy Flight” last Saturday, which benefited nearly 90 foster children from the Minnesota Children’s Home Society and Lutheran Social Services. This year, the airline’s Elite Services team helped Santa surprise the pint-sized passengers on board their magical flight to a mock “North Pole” – an airport gate completely transformed into a winter wonderland. As the plane taxied to the gate, Santa waved to the kids from his new, German-engineered sleigh substitute: a red Porsche Cayenne. The kids also enjoyed a selection of holiday treats, games, a magician and even a little pre-flight caroling. |
