Description
English: This is the original paint scheme for the Next Gens that lasted from 2008-2013. By the end of 2013 the Orions had been either repainted or given decals. However, several buses in the 4245-4277 range still retain this paint scheme, as well as featuring Spectrum RBG destination signs (dubbing them the nickname “Spectrums”.) These were ex-SBS units that came from Yukon Depot in Staten Island, and they were scattered throughout NYCT. Most are at Manhattanville; however Mother Clara Hale, LaGuardia, JFK, and Queens Village have these two. Their expected retirement may be around the corner due to high mileage that was not efficiently curbed to expand their useful life, but we’ll see. Ok time to shut up
