| Description |
English: MTA trolleybus #8361 at Seashore Trolley Museum in May 2012. It was built in 1948 for new trackless trolley lines in Dorchester, and retired in 1961 when they were converted to diesel bus. After two years of being kept in case war broke out (electric transit had been extremely important in Boston during WWII), it came to Seashore in 1963 as the museum's first trolleybuses. Here it is signed for the Lechmere via Somerville Avenue route, now today's route 87, which it may have never itself run. |
