Summary edit

Description MV Baragoola, Manly Ferry, 498 tons gross, at the Coal Loader Wharf, Balls Head Bay, Waverton, Sydney, 26 March 2016. Built (as one of 6) in 1922 by Mort's Dock & Engineering Co., Woolwich for the Port Jackson & Many Steamship Co. with a triple-expansion steam engine and a tall funnel. It was converted to diesel in 1958-61 and a short funnel fitted. It was taken out of service in 1983 and although bought for preservation, has yet to be restored.
