Description

Het ontwerp van deze locomotieven is gebaseerd op een standaardtype van MaK, de DE 1002. Voor de Nederlandse Spoorwegen werd op basis van dit type locomotief de serie 6400 ontwikkeld.De nummering bedroeg: 6401-6520. De locomotief is momenteel in dienst bij DB Schenker. In 1998 werd Siemens Schienenfahrzeugtechnik (SFT), voorheen Maschinenbau Kiel (MaK) in Kiel overgenomen. Momenteel is Vossloh AG de management- en financiële holding van het internationaal actieve Vossloh-concern. Het concern is gespecialiseerd in de spoor- en verkeerstechnologie. Bron: Wikipedia.   • De Falns is een vierassige goederenwagon -een zogenaamde zelflosser- die gebruikt wordt voor kolentreinen. De wagon heeft aan de zijkant kleppen, zodat de lading met behulp van de zwaartekracht gelost kan worden, wat betekent dat de lading door de kleppen uit de laadruimte stroomt.
