Description
English: Maastricht, the Netherlands. Silver jug and tureen, made by Joseph Balthazar Eymael, Maastricht, 1786-1788. The tureen was presented by the city of Maastricht to Gisbertus van der Vrecken who in 1787 was primus at the University of Louvain; the jug was presented to him by the chapter of Saint Servatius. Tureen: collection Bonnefantenmuseum. Jug: private collection. Both on loan to Museum aan het Vrijthof, Maastricht, Netherlands.
