English: Wal paintings in the chapel of Saints Eloi and Marcouf, one of the chapels in the north transept of the Basilica of Saint Servatius in Maastricht, the Netherlands. For centuries this chapel was merely a passage between the church and the Koningskapel, the Gothic "Chapelle Royal", funded by King Louis XI of France. The chapel features the Romanesque Revival polychromy and furniture designs that the architect Pierre Cuypers intended for the whole church in the late 19th century, most of which has been removed in the 1980s. The wall painting on the north wall shows Saint Eloi twice as patron saint of the silver smiths, to the left with a reliquary shrine, in the middle selling jewellery to a couple. To the right is Saint Louis (Louis IX of France).
