English: Machinations automata collection and shop Home of Timberkits http://www.timberkits.com/Home/ build-your-own automata and the Machinations http://machinationswales.co.uk/ automata exhibition. See their website for video of many of the exhibits. If this is really, as they claim, the largest collection in the UK, it seems a shame and one wonders where all the others have gone. I have fond memories of visits to the York Automata Museum and the Mechanical Cabaret in Covent Garden, both now closed.
The visitor centre also includes a café, playbarn and rabbit village. |
