| Description |
English: Commemorative plaque to Mr Imre Madách (1823–1864) Hungarian poet, writer, lawyer and politician. It was affixed on the wall of Imre Csörföly’s house where the poet asked the question the first time among friends if it would be possible to write the history of humanity in a dramatic work. This was the idea of his future principal work: The Tragedy of Man. (Balassagyarmat, Berchényi Street Nr 8)
Français : Plaque commémorative à M. Imre Madách (1823–1864) poète, écrivain, avocat et homme politique hongrois. Elle est apposée sur le mur de l’ancienne maison de l’avocat, M. le Maître Imre Csörföly oú le poète a posé la question la première fois entre amis s’il serait possible d’écrire l’histoire de l’humanité dans un oeuvre dramatique. C’était l’idée de son future oeuvre principal : La tragédie de l’humanité. (8 rue Berchényi, Balassagyarmat)
